Design and Connectors:

Important Technical Note:
When connecting an amplifier to a speaker cabinet, you must not use a shielded cable with small conductors (such as a standard instrument cable). The power output of an amplifier delivers high levels (dozens of volts and several amperes, e.g., 3 A for 72 W RMS into 8 ohms) into very low impedance loads (4 or 8 ohms). A standard instrument cable would dissipate a portion of the useful power due to resistance. A dedicated speaker cable with a sufficient cross-section and fine multi-strand conductors is required to preserve signal integrity and accurately reproduce musical frequencies. For a length of 1.25m, the 2 x 1.5 mm² CCA section offers an optimal balance of cost and performance.

Warning: This speaker cable is strictly designed for power transmission and is NOT suitable for connecting an instrument (guitar, keyboard, etc.) to an amplifier's input. Using a speaker cable for instrument input will cause an audible 50 Hz mains hum due to the lack of audio shielding.

(1) CCA (Copper Clad Aluminium): Refers to conductors composed of an aluminum core coated with copper. CCA is lighter than pure copper, offers excellent electrical conductivity, and is more cost-effective than pure copper or OFC cables.
