IMPORTANT NOTE:

This cable model is assembled with an NL-4 type connector, wired on pins 1+ and 1- in NL-2 mode (1 audio channel). It can be connected to an NL-4 socket wired on 1+/1-, but — although it is wired on two contacts only — will NOT fit into an NL-2 socket (NL-2 P).

This is because the relief of NL-4 connectors is different from that of NL-2: an NL-2 plug can connect to an NL-4 socket, but not vice versa.

This is a common issue affecting the majority of speaker cables labelled as "NL2". Most modern loudspeaker manufacturers fit their products with NL-4 sockets compatible with NL-2 plugs, but older speakers or current models fitted with NL-2 chassis sockets may cause compatibility issues.
