IMPORTANT NOTE: This model is assembled with an NL-4 type connector, wired on pins 1+ and 1- in NL-2 mode (1 audio channel). It can be connected to an NL-4 socket wired on 1+/1-, but — although it is wired on two contacts only — will NOT fit into an NL-2 socket (NL-2 P).

This is because the keying/relief of NL-4 connectors, often used with only 2 pins wired (even though they allow 4-pin connection), is different from that of NL-2s: an NL-2 can be connected to an NL-4 socket, but not vice versa.

This is a common anomaly, and we've sent a feedback to manufacturers requesting they do not label cords equipped with an NL-4 plug as "NL-2", even if wired on two points only. Fortunately, most loudspeaker manufacturers take the precaution of equipping their cabinets with NL-4 sockets wired on 2 points (which accept NL-2 plugs), but this can pose a compatibility issue when connecting older loudspeakers or current models specifically fitted with NL-2 chassis sockets (type NL-2 P).
