NB: To connect an amplifier to an enclosure, you should not put a shield of armored type with low section conductors (such as that of an instrument cable to amplifier) because on the one hand the power output of an amplifier delivers a high level which can be several tens of modulation volts and a current of several amps (for example 3 A for 72 W RMS on 8 ohms), and on the other hand Low (4 ohms, 8 ohms etc), which means that part of the useful power could be dissipated in the cable by resistive effect. A cable is therefore needed with sufficient section conductors and fine multi -multi conductors (because it is intended for the reproduction of musical frequencies). Here, for a length of 1.25 m, the section of 2 x 1.5 mm ² in CCA (1) is of good value for money and adapted to most uses.
The Jack connectors are of Monacor brand and have a traction discharge ring (Neutrik type). They are of good quality and robust. Contacts in nickel -plated brass. The quality/price ratio is excellent
NB: This type of cord, perfect and sufficient section to transmit power to the speakers, is not at all suitable for connecting a guitar or an instrument (keyboard, etc.) at the entrance to an amplifier. In this case, an armored audio cord (= with armor braid) is needed. Using an HP cord to connect an instrument with high or medium output impedance on the input of an amplifier would cause a snoring (induction noise) to 50 Hz or at the frequency of the sector.

(1) CCA is the abbreviation of "COPPER CLAD Aluminum". It designates standard quality wires made of coating of copper strands around a nucleus of aluminum strands. It is the CCA which is the most used in electric cords (sector extensions, etc.).
The advantage of the CCA is that it is lighter than pure copper, for a very good conductivity (aluminum is one of the very good electric drivers), and of lower price than that of pure copper conductors cables, OFC or not.
