"SAS" Super Analog Stylus:

The tip of the super analog stylus is carefully chosen from natural monocrystalline diamonds. The laser -cut diamond looks closely like the stylus used on an engraving tower to produce the master records in acetate used in the production of vinyls. This allows the cutting edge of the SAS to reach the deepest corners of the disc fur in order to find details that were previously inaccessible to other stylus profiles. Thanks to its large contact zone with the wall of the furrow, the SAS can reproduce a more extensive bandwidth with greater fidelity.
About the canteel in boron:
The boron is one of the most suitable materials for the cantilevers. Its density is low, its Young module is high and the speed of sound propagation is approximately 2.6 times faster than that of aluminum. Due to the above characteristics, the boron cantilever can more precisely draw the information contained in the disk furrows than the aluminum cantilever.

There is no interchangeability between the VN5MR and the VN5XMR. Please confirm the number of your cartridge/ stylus and select the appropriate stylus .

IMPORTANT: Shure V15 phono cartridges exist in several different series (type I, II, III, IV, V, V MR and xMR) and the stylus adapted to each of them is different. On the other hand, the reproductions of the VN-5 stylus compatible with the V15 type V MR are of variable qualities depending on the manufacturer, and the size of the diamond tip can be a spherical standard. Here it is a very high quality model made in Japan by Jico, in "SAS" version (special diamond size) mounted on an ultra-light and rigid boron cantilever, which provides optimal finesse of sound reproduction and tracking (followed by furrow).
